Seven compositions from Fantasia Suite were presented by Carter Larsen on July 27, 2006 in Santa Monica at the private home of arts patron Kara Fox. The standing room only event was chaired by Andrea Van de Kamp, Chairman Emeritus of the Music Center of Los Angeles.

Larsen was further celebrated on September 20, 2006 with the launch of an international series at Pepperdine University featuring his magnum opus, Fantasia Suite. Six performers included one masters and two doctoral candidates from the University of Southern California, featuring Aaron McClaskey. The sold out evening, introduced by Catherine Goldwyn, was recorded live.

Larsen will produce a commercial recording of twelve compositions from Fantasia Suite, performed by Korean born, prize winning international concert pianist Aaron Mc Claskey and co-produced and engineered by James Richter this spring.

Carter is scoring Martin Scorsese's new film, "Something To Believe In", featuring the Dalai Lama, directed by Bonnie Palef and executive produced by Martin Scorsese. The film deals with issues of man's spiritual consciousness on a global level.

Larsen scored the film "The Innocents Mission", starring Phillip Van Dyke with director Eric Tetrault, which premiered at Sundance. As the composer, Carter Larsen attended preliminary screenings.

Shooting of Larsen's new video of Fantasia Suite, "Bridges and Beyond", performer TBA, directed by Enrico Bengivenga, and produced by Carter Larsen is set to start filming in summer, 2008.
